Paper Puffin is based in Portland, Oregon and features merchandise, artwork and objects featuring curious cats by K.Carlson.

Printed products like stationary, art prints and totes are produced locally or in-house and screen-printed items are hand pulled. All work is scanned high-res and care is taken to produce a clean, detailed print. Special attention is payed to the quality and packaging of the products.

+ Who is Puffin?

Puffin is a curious gray and white cat, and the main muse behind Paper Puffin.

+ What media is used to create the art?

Black brush pens, Copic markers on paper and paintings on wood panels are the primary media. I use gouache paint and watercolors, and often do originals on hand cut wood panels. All work is created and produced by K.Carlson.

I currently am not accepting commissions for artwork.

+ I live in Portland, is delivery or pick-up available?

Pick-up is available at LetterpressPDX, located in North Portland. Sorry, delivery is not available at this time. 

+ Can I get a tattoo of a Paper Puffin design?

I’d be honored! I’ve added a “Tattoo Tip” as a product with two suggested gratitude prices, which is greatly appreciated. Please always credit to Paper Puffin (you and the tattoo artist) whenever posting to social media.
